A Mile High Workout

Workout: 

  • Tuesday – REST
  • Wednesday – 1 hour of Extreme Bootcamp

One of the cool things about traveling so much is the opportunity to try out different gyms and different exercise classes.  And I usually travel with a co-worker who will try it with me.

Here’s a description of the class:

Today, I got to try Extreme Bootcamp.  I have to admit…I was a little scared, but I was determined.  I mean, after all, I’ve been doing P90x and CrossFit, right?!?!?!  I’ve even started developing GUNS baby!  What else could they possibly throw at me that would kill me??  Um, as I found out…a LOT!  Nothing really new but at that altitude and for a full hour, I was TOAST!  Evidence below:

How does one refuel from such a killer workout?  With a breakfast sandwich from Heidi’s of course!  Only the best deli EVER!

Don’t worry, I didn’t eat it all!

Oh, and about yesterday…Finley didn’t make it to school because the poor little thing was sick!  I was able to cuddle her before I left for my trip but I still felt bad about leaving.

The good news is that she was well enough to go today.  I can’t wait to get home to see her and ask her all about it!
