The December Streak

Workouts:

  • Friday – CrossFit with trainer, 45 min
  • Saturday – 2 mile run (Day 1)

If you run, I’m sure you’ve heard of Streaking.  I think Runner’s World started it a few years ago.  And no, I’m not talking about running naked.  I’ll stay fully-clothed, thank you very much!  I think it’s best for everyone involved if I do!

I’m just talking about running one mile a day every day for a certain period of time.  The thought is that it helps keep you healthy, especially during a season of indulgence which is typically what the holidays are for most people, me included.  So I’m going to Streak for the month of December.  Some days I’ll do more than one mile, some days I’ll only do a mile.

And some of those miles will be on the treadmill so maybe, just maybe, I’ll work on speed while I’m doing it.  We all know I need to speed up!
